Takaful Industry has Right Ingredients to Grow
Malaysia’s takaful insurance industry still has plenty of room for growth due to several factors including a low penetration rate despite a pre-dominant Muslim population. The takaful penetration rate in 2010 was between 10% and 11% compared to conventional insurance, which was reported to be close to 43%.
